Hyderabad-based infrastructure solutions provider Bondada Group has entered the electric mobility sector through a strategic partnership between its subsidiary Atpole Technologies and Thuraga Motors. The partnership previewed its debut vehicle, the T1 electric two-wheeler, priced at ₹59,999, alongside launching a dedicated company portal.

The venture marks a significant expansion for Bondada Group beyond its established engineering, procurement, construction, and operations management business. By manufacturing indigenous mobility solutions, the company aims to support domestic manufacturing capability and contribute directly to the national initiative for economic self-reliance and sustainable growth.

Focus on practical design and local manufacturing

Bondada Group CEO Rear Admiral (Retd) R. Sreenivas said the partnership aims to make electric mobility broadly accessible through solutions engineered and built within India. He noted that the initiative aligns directly with the vision of Viksit Bharat by boosting homegrown manufacturing and green transport technology.

The T1 electric two-wheeler has been developed specifically to handle heavy-duty daily use across various working sectors. Atpole Technologies Director Jagadish Kumar Meesala stated that the vehicle's development focuses on practical mobility for commercial fleet operators, gig workers, delivery drivers, and agricultural workers, as well as individual commuters.

Thuraga Motors Founder and Chief Technology Officer Abhiram Thuraga said the vehicle reflects a commitment to local engineering, offering a durable product designed for local road conditions.
