Preparation strategies and overcoming setbacks

For 18-year-old Riyan, who previously ranked fourth in Telangana in his Class 12 state board examinations with 98.6 per cent, the preparation required clearing a significant backlog of lectures in auditing and financial management midway through the year. He cleared around 20 days worth of recorded sessions by mid-July through disciplined daily revision schedules.

Saanvi Sharma built on her previous academic success, having already secured AIR 11 in the CA Foundation examination with 333 marks out of 400. During her final preparation phase, she dedicated 14 to 16 hours daily to structural revision and mock examinations.

Jhanvi Goel focused on conceptual clarity over rote memorisation, particularly in taxation. She broke the complex syllabus into smaller units and targeted the underlying logic behind statutory amendments.

Shrishti Tayel achieved her rank despite physical challenges during her study period. A minor accident in April required her to transfer to online classes, and she subsequently developed tennis elbow, causing severe pain in her writing hand. She maintained consistency by combining intensive 12 to 14 hour study cycles with short rest breaks.

Next steps for the qualifying candidates

With the Intermediate stage complete, all four candidates are now preparing to begin their mandatory practical articleship training before registering for the final CA examination.
