Historic performance in Nagoya
India wrapped up its campaign at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games on Saturday with a record-breaking haul of 114 medals, finishing fourth in the overall standings as the week-long competition concluded in Japan.

What makes the achievement particularly striking is the sheer efficiency of the squad. India fielded a focused contingent of 168 para-athletes in Nagoya, compared with 309 at the previous edition in Hangzhou, highlighting the dividends of structured institutional support and targeted athletic preparation.
