Growth in the core hospital business was anchored by key clinical specialties, including cardiac care, orthopaedics, oncology, gastroenterology, and urology. Apollo Hospitals Managing Director Suneeta Reddy stated that solid volume growth in these critical care departments formed the foundation of the quarterly results.

International patient revenue expanded by 37 per cent during the quarter, aided by a recovery in patient arrivals from Bangladesh along with steady growth from Africa, South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Group Chief Financial Officer Krishnan Akhileshwaran noted that Apollo's clinical outcomes and pricing structure—offering treatment at roughly one-tenth of global costs—continue to attract international patients to India's healthcare system.

The group's retail and digital arm, Apollo HealthCo, added 222 pharmacy outlets during the quarter, bringing its total store count to 7,662. The company confirmed that its digital operations broke even during the period, with the combined pharmacy and digital business remaining on schedule for a stock market listing by the fourth quarter of FY27.

To meet long-term healthcare demand, Apollo Hospitals is executing a plan to add 5,800 beds over the next five years. Construction is underway on a 600-bed greenfield hospital on Old Mahabalipuram Road in Chennai, while a 470-bed facility in Gurugram remains on track to open in the third quarter of FY27.

The company also announced senior management changes. Dr Madhu Sasidhar will step down as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Hospitals Division on 14 November upon completing his tenure. Dr Ritu Garg has been appointed Chief Executive Officer for Multi Regions, overseeing operations across northern, central, western, and eastern India. Shares of Apollo Hospitals closed 1.89 per cent higher at ₹8,599.50 on the National Stock Exchange following the announcement.
