Ather Energy turned profitable in the July-September quarter of FY27, reporting a net profit of Rs 1.26 crore as growing domestic demand for electric two-wheelers pushed operating revenue up 63 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,464.24 crore.

The turnaround triggered an immediate rally on the stock market, with Ather Energy's shares rising over 13 per cent during Monday trading to reach Rs 1,562 per share, taking the company's total market capitalisation to approximately Rs 61,856 crore.

Vehicle sales climbed to 93,211 units in the second quarter, up from 52,961 units sold during the same period in the previous fiscal year.

Total income for the quarter reached Rs 1,526.95 crore, assisted by Rs 62 crore in other income. On a sequential basis, revenue grew 20 per cent compared to the Rs 1,217 crore recorded in the first quarter of FY27.
