Q2 results: BHEL, Canara Bank, Groww and Tata Technologies report earnings
A heavy slate of 26 listed companies are reporting their September quarter numbers, showing continued resilience across heavy industry, state banking and engineering services.

Twenty-six listed companies on the Bombay Stock Exchange are scheduled to announce their second-quarter financial results on Wednesday, offering a broad check on corporate India's performance across manufacturing, digital finance, public sector banking and engineering exports.
The lineup for the quarter ended September 30 includes state power equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), public lender Canara Bank, engineering services specialist Tata Technologies, and Billionbrains Garage Ventures, the parent entity behind digital investment platform Groww.
What analysts expect from the bellwethers
State-owned enterprises and industrial manufacturers anchor Wednesday's corporate scorecard, supported by ongoing infrastructure build-outs and strong operational momentum.
Analysts expect BHEL to post solid year-on-year and sequential expansion, spurred by faster project execution across its core power and industrial manufacturing divisions. The public sector undertaking closed its insider trading window through October 16 ahead of the board review.
Canara Bank enters the earnings table with expectations of sustained balance-sheet growth. Brokerages project steady credit expansion led by the retail, agriculture, and MSME (RAM) segments alongside predictable corporate lending. Motilal Oswal Financial Services expects the state lender's net interest margin to rise by 3 basis points sequentially, helped by the retirement of higher-cost liabilities.
In technology, Tata Technologies faces an uneven quarterly mix. Kotak expects its core services division to deliver 3.4% sequential revenue growth in constant currency terms, supported by automotive anchor clients and steady orders in aerospace. However, softness in technology product licensing and project delays in its education segment are expected to weigh on overall solutions revenue.
Meanwhile, retail market participation continues to lift Billionbrains Garage Ventures (Groww). Motilal Oswal noted that Groww's margin trading facility reached a fresh peak during the quarter, though operating margins may show sequential compression because of moderate absolute cost increases.
