EAAA India Alternatives opens Rs 1,200 crore IPO as Indian stock market momentum builds
Alternative investment manager EAAA India Alternatives kicks off its share sale as defence electronics manufacturer Tonbo Imaging extends post-listing gains.
Investor participation in India's primary market remains robust as alternative investment manager EAAA India Alternatives launched its Rs 1,200 crore public issue on Monday, shortly after defence manufacturer Tonbo Imaging India delivered extraordinary listing returns.
EAAA India Alternatives has set a price band of Rs 1,585 to Rs 1,665 per share for its initial public offering, which closes on 28 October 2026. The issue consists entirely of an offer for sale of 72.07 lakh shares by promoter entity Edelweiss Securities & Investments, meaning all proceeds will go directly to the selling shareholder.
Ahead of the public rollout, the fund manager secured Rs 360 crore from anchor investors, who were allotted 21.62 lakh shares at the top end of the price band. Minimum investment for retail bidders stands at Rs 14,985 for nine shares. The company's shares are scheduled to list on the National Stock Exchange and BSE on 2 November 2026.

The firm's Rs 852.18 crore issue, which was entirely an offer for sale by existing investors, attracted massive institutional and retail demand. Tonbo Imaging designs and produces guidance, targeting, and surveillance equipment, including thermal imaging cores and missile seekers for defence applications.
