IPO activity surges as nine companies prepare to raise Rs 2,768 crore
Five mainboard offerings led by EAAA India Alternatives and four SME issues highlight sustained domestic market confidence.

India's capital markets are set for another active week as nine companies prepare to launch initial public offerings to raise a collective ₹2,768 crore. The upcoming pipeline underscores strong domestic liquidity and sustained corporate appetite for equity financing across both heavyweight industrial sectors and emerging small businesses.
The fundraising slate includes five mainboard issues and four public offerings in the small and medium enterprise (SME) segment. The momentum reflects growing confidence in India's macroeconomic stability and institutional frameworks, which continue to channel retail and domestic institutional savings into productive enterprise.
Mainboard issues lead the capital drive
Leading the mainboard pipeline is alternative asset manager EAAA India Alternatives, which is launching the week's largest offering at ₹1,200 crore. Water treatment and engineering specialist SFC Environmental Technologies follows with an issue size of ₹667.53 crore.
Consumer and manufacturing businesses make up the remainder of the mainboard pipeline, led by MK Sons Fine Jewels, which is seeking ₹275.40 crore. Industrial manufacturers BLS Polymers and Bombay Coated & Special Steels plan to raise ₹255 crore and ₹183.06 crore, respectively.
| Company | Segment | Target Amount (₹ crore) |
|---|---|---|
| EAAA India Alternatives | Mainboard | 1,200.00 |
| SFC Environmental Technologies | Mainboard | 667.53 |
| MK Sons Fine Jewels | Mainboard | 275.40 |
| BLS Polymers | Mainboard | 255.00 |
| Bombay Coated & Special Steels | Mainboard | 183.06 |
| SME Issues (Wiscon, Ajwa, Carver, Antala) | SME | 187.01 |
| Total | Combined | 2,768.00 |
Broad participation across SME sectors
Beyond the primary board, entrepreneurial activity across Indian manufacturing and services remains robust. Four SME offerings will open for public bidding: Wiscon Industries, Ajwa Projects, Carver Roboweld, and Antala Industries. Together, these smaller issues account for the remaining ₹187 crore of the week's planned fundraising.
Meanwhile, bidding will conclude on 27 October for Core4 Engineers, an SME offering that opened during the previous trading week.
Mega listings reinforce market depth
Investor attention will also focus on the secondary market as significant recent offerings list on stock exchanges on 28 October. Jio Platforms is scheduled to make its market debut after completing an issue that mobilised more than ₹30,000 crore, representing one of the largest public fundraises in Indian corporate history.
Joining Jio Platforms on the trading floor is Paras Healthcare, which raised approximately ₹1,450 crore to finance hospital network expansion. The successful absorption of both mega-cap listings and mid-tier capital issues highlights the broadening capacity of Indian exchanges to support business growth across varied scales.
