L&T wins large orders for Central Secretariat in Delhi and Amaravati towers
The construction giant picks up contracts worth up to Rs 5,000 crore along Kartavya Path and in Andhra Pradesh's capital.

Larsen & Toubro has secured fresh domestic construction orders valued between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore to build government offices in New Delhi and Andhra Pradesh, underscoring steady momentum in India's public infrastructure rollout.
The engineering group classifies contracts within that value bracket as "large". Both domestic wins were picked up by its Public Spaces, Airports & Health vertical, the company said in a regulatory filing.
In New Delhi, the Central Public Works Department awarded L&T an engineering, procurement and construction contract to build Common Central Secretariat buildings 4 and 5 along Kartavya Path. The two administrative complexes will have a basement, ground floor and seven upper storeys, spanning a combined built-up area of 32.8 lakh square feet. L&T's responsibilities cover structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, alongside external development. The project is scheduled for completion within 24 months, after which L&T will manage operations and maintenance for five years.
In Andhra Pradesh, the state government selected the company to build two commercial office towers flanking the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre in Amaravati. Configured with a basement, ground floor and 47 upper floors, the twin towers will cover 37.5 lakh square feet. The design-and-build order covers shell and core works, with execution targeted within 30 months.

International expansion in Central Asia
Alongside the domestic awards, L&T is widening its global footprint. Its Public Spaces, Airports & Health vertical has received a Limited Notice to Proceed from the public-private partnership consortium developing the New Tashkent International Airport in Uzbekistan.
That contract covers the passenger terminal and landside infrastructure for an airport designed to handle approximately 17 million passengers a year. L&T has started engineering, design and procurement groundwork, with a full Notice to Proceed scheduled once contractual conditions precedent are satisfied.
The Tashkent assignment falls into L&T's ultra-mega category — valued above Rs 15,000 crore — and marks an entry into Central Asian aviation infrastructure, complementing an order book that has historically leaned towards the Middle East.
