Mumbai Police have initiated a high-level investigation and launched a massive search operation after shots were fired at actor Tiger Shroff's car in Juhu on Sunday evening. The actor escaped entirely uninjured, while law enforcement agencies acted swiftly to secure the scene, cordon off the surrounding roads, and track down the perpetrators.

What happened in Juhu

The incident took place near Pushpa Park within the Juhu police station limits as Shroff was returning home after playing football. Three rounds were fired at his BMW vehicle.

While Shroff did not suffer any gunshot wounds, his driver was taken to Nanavati Hospital for treatment following the incident. Officers are currently piecing together the exact sequence of events leading up to the attack.

Rapid police response and ongoing manhunt

Mumbai Police responded immediately to the location, securing the surrounding neighbourhood to maintain order and gather forensic evidence. Authorities have formed 12 specialised teams to review CCTV footage along the route and trace the individuals involved.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed that Shroff did not sustain any injuries during the incident. A representative for the actor's father, Jackie Shroff, also confirmed that he is safe.

Government oversight and investigation leads

Following the incident, Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar spoke directly with Shroff's family to offer support and assure them of complete official assistance. State authorities are closely monitoring the police operation to ensure swift resolution and public safety.

Investigators are also looking into online activity linked to the case. An unverified social media post under the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, attributed to overseas-based figures Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, claimed responsibility for the incident. The post alleged that the actor was targeted over his professional associations. Police officers are assessing the authenticity of the message while maintaining strict law enforcement measures across the area.
