BRS demands ED probe into Telangana CM Revanth Reddy's family assets
The opposition party claims the Chief Minister has misused his office to promote private corporate interests connected to his relatives.

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi has demanded an Enforcement Directorate probe into the rapidly growing assets, corporate links, and financial transactions of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's family.
Speaking at a press conference at Telangana Bhavan on Saturday, BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank accused the Chief Minister of abusing his official position to benefit his relatives. He claimed that the business interests connected to the Chief Minister's family have expanded dramatically over the last two years, accumulating assets valued at more than ₹50,000 crore.
Krishank said the party is sending financial records and company documents to central investigative agencies rather than making unsubstantiated claims.
What are the allegations?
The BRS spokesperson raised questions about the rapid financial growth of Sahrudaya Healthcare and alleged that there are direct connections between Maxbien Pharma, Medicover Hospitals, and individuals related to the Chief Minister.
Krishank alleged that as much as ₹13,000 crore in black money had been laundered through transactions involving Medicover. He urged the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to run an independent financial investigation into the company's shareholding patterns, beneficial ownership, and source of funds.
He also criticised the Chief Minister's repeated participation in the opening ceremonies of private hospitals. While private healthcare and educational institutions linked to the Chief Minister's family are expanding, Krishank claimed, government-run schools and public hospitals are being neglected.
Dealerships and foreign meetings
Among the specific transactions flagged by the BRS was the establishment of Geetha Automotive. Krishank pointed out that five Hyundai showrooms were opened in Hyderabad shortly after Revanth Reddy held talks with senior Hyundai executives during an official visit to South Korea.
He questioned the ownership structure of the automotive venture, pointing to investor Dumpa Sirisha, who he claimed holds interests across multiple firms. "Who are the real investors? Who are the beneficial owners? What is the source of the investment?" Krishank asked, adding that only an independent financial probe could clear the air.
Demands for an inquiry
The BRS leader challenged the Chief Minister's family to step forward and debate the accusations. "If the members of Revanth Reddy's family come for a discussion and prove that my allegations are wrong, I will withdraw them, apologise and never speak about the Chief Minister's family again," Krishank said.
To push the issue further, Krishank announced plans to send the financial dossiers to the President of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing potential political retaliation, Krishank noted that he had already been arrested twice and had his home raided by police. He said these actions would not stop him from demanding accountability from those in power.
