Travel experiences booking platform Bucketlistt has secured Rs 7.6 crore in early-stage funding led by venture firm Kairon Capital, capitalising on growing domestic demand for curated holidays and experiential tourism across India.

The investment round drew backing from Titan Capital, the Divisa Family Office, and Kunal Popat, founder of baby products brand R for Rabbit.

Founded in 2025 by Shubham Makhecha, Nitant Desai, and Divyam Shah, Bucketlistt operates an online marketplace that lets travellers discover and book local activities, guided outings, and niche regional experiences.

Where the fresh capital will go

Bucketlistt plans to deploy the new funds across its digital infrastructure and geographic footprint, focusing heavily on:

  • Upgrading its core product engineering and booking technology
  • Onboarding a broader network of local adventure guides and activity operators
  • Expanding operations into popular northern destinations, starting with Manali and Bir

By moving into regional hubs like Himachal Pradesh's Manali and Bir — widely known for paragliding and trekking — the platform aims to capture high-intent leisure travellers looking for verified, bookable local itineraries rather than unstructured trip planning.

Growth in domestic experiential travel

India's domestic tourism and holiday booking landscape has seen steady formalisation, backed by expanding digital payments infrastructure and rising disposable incomes among young urban professionals. While traditional travel aggregators have largely focused on standard flight and hotel ticketing, niche platforms targeting adventurous and curated activities are finding strong early investor support.

The company has not yet disclosed its current valuation or post-money shareholding figures following the round.
