Chapter Home raises Rs 63 crore to expand HOKIPO and physical retail footprint
The home and kitchen startup founded by former PharmEasy leaders is expanding offline after a funding round valuing it near Rs 1,000 crore.

Chapter Home has raised Rs 63 crore in a funding round combining equity and debt, valuing the home and kitchen business at close to Rs 1,000 crore.
The investment was backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Stride Ventures, content creator and angel investor Tanmay Bhat, and several family offices. The fresh capital will go towards building out the firm's distribution network, introducing new product categories, investing in brand marketing, and opening its first physical retail locations.
Who is behind Chapter Home
The business was founded in 2025 by five former PharmEasy executives: Nitin Chugh, Akarsh Bharadwaj, Shrey Mittal, Dhiraj Jain, and Dheeraj Goyal. Having worked together at the health-tech platform, the founders shifted focus to India's burgeoning domestic consumer goods market.
Instead of launching a standalone label, Chapter Home is building an umbrella of consumer brands spanning bed and table linen, home décor, cookware, and small kitchen appliances.
Its first consumer offering is HOKIPO, an online home furnishings brand. The company intends to take HOKIPO and upcoming labels across multiple sales channels, including quick commerce networks, third-party online marketplaces, its own direct-to-consumer website, and brick-and-mortar storefronts.

Rather than setting up standalone back-end operations for each product vertical, Chapter Home runs on a unified core platform. Sourcing, warehousing, supply chain management, content generation, and distribution are shared across its labels.
The startup also incorporates artificial intelligence tools across everyday operations. The management team uses machine learning models for customer targeting and retention, automated product cataloguing, demand forecasting, inventory assortment, and digital marketing content.
The new funding will primarily support setting up Chapter Home's initial batch of physical retail stores, giving its digitally native brands an offline presence as consumer appetite for branded home products expands.
