Lorazzo raises ₹15 crore to expand smart kitchen and bathroom fittings business
The Delhi-NCR-based startup is targeting ₹100 crore in revenue within two years by selling high-tech sanitaryware directly to design-conscious homeowners.

Lorazzo, a young kitchen and bath fittings brand, has raised ₹15 crore in a funding round led by Sauce to take on established legacy players in India's home improvement market.
The early-stage funding round also saw follow-on investment from Sprout Venture Partners, alongside participation from Panthera Peak and Alteria Capital. Founded in 2024 by Jatin Luthra and Saurabh Gupta, the Delhi-NCR-based startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand its product range, hire more staff, and strengthen its distribution across both online and physical retail channels in more Indian states.
Challenging legacy players
India’s kitchen and bathroom fittings market has historically been highly traditional. For decades, consumer decisions have been heavily influenced by plumbers, contractors, and builders rather than the homeowners themselves, with a handful of legacy brands dominating the market.
Lorazzo is attempting to disrupt this dynamic by treating fittings as a design-first, high-involvement purchase. The company said its revenue has grown six-fold over the past 12 months, and it is now targeting ₹100 crore in revenue within the next two years.
"Kitchen and bathroom fittings have remained one of the few large consumer categories where brands have largely stayed unchanged while the consumer has evolved dramatically," co-founder Jatin Luthra said. He argued that modern Indian homeowners care deeply about design and technology, but are still largely served by traditional, slow-moving sales networks.
Smart toilets and longer warranties
To stand out, Lorazzo is relying on a mix of high-tech features and aggressive pricing. Its flagship product, the Intelli Smart Commode—which features a heated seat, electronic bidet, air dryer, and digital temperature controls—is priced at ₹58,999. The company points out that comparable smart toilets from international brands typically cost between ₹1.5 lakh and ₹5 lakh.
Beyond smart sanitaryware, Lorazzo sells kitchen sinks, faucets, mirrors, and cabinets, offering warranties of up to 20 years alongside on-site installation and servicing across India.
Karan Kathpalia, vice president at Sauce, said the startup's ability to drive online discovery in a category that has traditionally been purely offline is what drew the investment firm to the company. "Given the size of the category and the ongoing shift towards organised, branded players, we see substantial room for Lorazzo to grow," Kathpalia said.
Saurabh Gupta, Lorazzo’s other co-founder, added that the brand's long-term success will rely on back-end service rather than just flashy design. "Design and technology get consumers to choose us, but warranty, service and product reliability are what earn their trust," he said.
