Enterprise software company Shamrock AI has secured $5 million in a seed funding round led by Endiya Partners, with venture capital firm Capria Ventures participating.

The investment marks the startup's first institutional capital injection. Shamrock AI plans to deploy the funds to accelerate product engineering, expand international marketing, and build out its operational presence in the Middle East and the United States.

Founded in 2026 by Sarat Addanki, Michael Gallagher, and Anuraag Nallapati, the startup maintains its corporate headquarters in Shillong, Meghalaya, alongside technical and commercial offices in Hyderabad and San Francisco. Its platform addresses a critical bottleneck for large multinational corporations: verifying that autonomous software agents can execute complex business processes without error.

What Shamrock AI builds

While companies increasingly experiment with artificial intelligence, deploying autonomous agents directly inside core enterprise workflows often introduces significant operational risk. Shamrock AI designs an "Enterprise Business Knowledge Graph" that maps a company's internal software configurations, data pipelines, and workflows, providing the contextual framework software agents need to work reliably.

Its initial commercial focus centres on agentic test lifecycle automation for large-scale enterprise resource planning overhauls, including migrations to SAP S/4HANA. The platform continuously checks and validates operational workflows, laying the groundwork for broader data observability and business process automation.

"Enterprises are looking to move beyond AI experimentation and deploy agents across critical business processes, but doing so reliably requires a deep understanding of how their businesses operate," said Anuraag Nallapati, co-founder and head of product and strategy.

Expanding the Indian engineering base

Shamrock AI already counts multiple Fortune 500 corporations among its active client base, including a Fortune 100 artificial intelligence hardware manufacturer and a Fortune 100 healthcare group. Its annual contract values typically begin at $200,000 and can rise past $2 million, with the venture aiming to secure roughly 15 Fortune 500 customers by the close of 2027.

To achieve this, the company will concentrate between 70% and 80% of its workforce within India, anchoring product research and core development domestically while stationing customer-facing teams in North America.

"While enterprises are rapidly embracing AI, the fundamental challenge remains making AI systems accountable and independently validated in mission-critical business environments," said Anvesh Ramineni, partner at Endiya Partners.

The venture's emergence from Meghalaya into international enterprise markets highlights India's expanding role as an exporter of sophisticated deep-technology products, supported by stable domestic digital infrastructure and high-calibre engineering talent that increasingly extends beyond conventional Tier-1 metropolitan hubs.
