Confido Health raises $12.5 million in Series A funding led by Z47
The Series A extension takes total funding for the AI healthcare automation platform to over $25 million as prominent venture funds deepen their backing.

Confido Health has raised $12.5 million in a Series A extension led by venture capital firm Z47, taking its total Series A funding to $22.5 million.
Existing backers Together Fund and Blume Ventures also joined the round, while healthcare private equity veteran Justin Saks came on board as an investor and adviser. The capital infusion underscores strong institutional confidence in technology ventures tackling operational bottlenecks across modern healthcare.
Founded in 2022 by Chetan Reddy and Vichar Shroff, Confido Health builds artificial intelligence agents designed to handle routine administrative duties for clinic groups and hospitals. Its flagship platform, CareOS, orchestrates patient communications, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, referral management, prescription refills, and payment collection.
What the funding supports
The company will use the fresh capital to expand CareOS across multi-location healthcare operators and build new agent workflows for specialised fields, including ophthalmology, physical therapy, dental care, and primary care.
While Confido Health started with voice AI to field inbound telephone calls, it has since broadened into end-to-end operational automation. The software integrates directly with more than 50 existing healthcare platforms—spanning electronic health records, billing engines, phone systems, and fax lines—without requiring practices to overhaul their underlying software.
"Confido is building AI staffing for healthcare," said Vikram Vaidyanathan, partner and senior managing director at Z47. "Every provider runs on a different patchwork of systems, and Confido's platform CareOS along with forward-deployed engineers make deployment seamless, so its virtual employees become an integral part of the workforce."
Growth and funding track record
Confido Health claims its AI agents now achieve handle rates above 95% across key administrative tasks. The startup reports that its platform delivers operational capacity comparable to three to five full-time administrative staff within three months of deployment.
