Preventive healthcare startup Vitonnix secures first institutional funding led by IPV
The doctor-founded startup leverages India's manufacturing and scientific expertise to scale its sublingual spray technology globally.

Preventive healthcare startup Vitonnix has secured its first institutional seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures, drawing backing from practising doctors and high-profile investors as it expands its manufacturing and distribution operations.
The funding round also saw participation from actors Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani, singer Jaspinder Narula, and film producer Madhu Mantena. Vitonnix plans to use the capital to strengthen its senior executive team, expand consumer distribution channels, and broaden its international footprint.
Founded by three practising medical professionals — UK-based refractive eye surgeon Dr Prashant Jindal, dermatologist Dr Deepti Jindal, and oral surgeon Dr Rajesh Handa — Vitonnix spent over ten years developing its proprietary delivery system. Its core line, SubliSpray, delivers nutritional supplements through oral mucosal absorption rather than conventional tablets.
While the company maintains operational hubs in London and Birmingham, its core research, formulation, and manufacturing infrastructure is rooted in India, with precision spray systems engineered in Germany.
"India gave us the scientific talent and manufacturing base to scale, while our British clinical roots established the standards behind every product," said Dr Prashant Jindal, co-founder of Vitonnix. "IPV’s backing recognises the healthcare platform we have built."
In India, early support from the Tata group helped launch the brand through a co-branded product range. The company’s domestic clinical team is led by Dr Sandeep Gupta, Director of Orthopedics at Max Hospitals. Having already sold millions of bottles primarily through founder capital, Vitonnix is now preparing for a major European rollout in 2026, launching a 10-product range with British health retailer Boots UK.
The investment underscores the momentum within India’s health-tech ecosystem, where robust domestic manufacturing capabilities and deep scientific expertise are increasingly positioning Indian-built platforms for global market leadership. Inflection Point Ventures alone has invested over ₹900 crore across more than 280 startups, including 16 investments in the first quarter of 2026.
"Vitonnix stood out because it’s more than a consumer supplement brand," said Vinay Bansal, co-founder of Inflection Point Ventures. "It pairs clinical leadership with differentiated delivery technology and proprietary formulations, and Dr Jindal and his team have built the business with real capital discipline."
Vitonnix is also extending its sublingual spray delivery platform into pet health through Vetonnix, offering oral nutritional sprays designed to replace conventional pet pills and powders.
The funding comes as global demand for specialised preventive health and supplement products continues to rise across key international markets.
