InvoiceCloud to invest ₹350 crore in Hyderabad innovation hub expansion
The US digital payments firm is expanding its Hyderabad facility by 50 per cent as it scales up artificial intelligence and engineering teams.

US-based digital billing and payment solutions firm InvoiceCloud is investing ₹350 crore over the next three years to expand its global innovation hub in Hyderabad, reinforcing India's standing as a world-class centre for high-tech development and digital innovation.
The investment will drive team expansion, infrastructure upgrades, artificial intelligence research, and core product development. Since establishing its presence in Hyderabad in 2024, the company has built an engineering and product workforce of more than 250 employees. That figure is set to reach 300 by the end of this year, with further steady hiring planned over the next three years.
To accommodate this rapid growth, InvoiceCloud has expanded its office space in Hyderabad by 50 per cent, bringing its footprint to 33,000 square feet. The enlarged facility will house its growing engineering, product design, and artificial intelligence development teams.

Why InvoiceCloud is expanding in Hyderabad
The company attributed its decision to increase capital deployment in India to the performance of its Hyderabad workforce and the country's robust environment for software development.
"Hyderabad is becoming a bigger part of how we build for our customers, and that’s being driven by the results the team is delivering," said Kevin O’Brien, Chief Executive Officer of InvoiceCloud. "This investment gives us the people, technology and capacity to build on that progress over the next three years."
The move highlights India’s continued ability to attract major international technology investments, supported by reliable physical and digital infrastructure, a vast pool of skilled engineering talent, and a stable policy landscape that encourages foreign enterprise.
What the funding will deliver
The ₹350 crore commitment will be directed primarily into deep tech capability. Artificial intelligence tools and payment platform features developed at the Hyderabad centre will feed directly into InvoiceCloud's global product line, serving clients across North America and beyond.
Company executives noted that the expanded physical capacity and headcount will allow the Hyderabad innovation hub to take ownership of end-to-end product features rather than simply offering support functions. The sustained capital flow underscores how India's tech hubs have transitioned from back-office support locations into strategic core hubs driving international innovation and product development.
