Reliance Industries said on Friday it welcomes competition from Elon Musk’s Starlink, noting that its Jio Platforms unit’s own satellite broadband plans are still pending regulatory clearance.
The communications committee will conduct a detailed review of satellite internet regulations as the Centre insists foreign operators must clear strict security and spectrum checks.
