Infosys will declare its second-quarter financial results for the 2026–27 fiscal year on Friday, October 23, following the conclusion of its two-day board meeting. India's second-largest software services company is scheduled to publish its performance report at approximately 3:45 p.m. Indian Standard Time, immediately after domestic markets close.

Alongside its quarterly figures, the company's board of directors is expected to approve an interim dividend for the current fiscal year and set the record date for eligible shareholders. Over the past 12 months, Infosys has distributed a total of ₹48 per equity share in dividends to investors.

Growth expectations and sector resilience

Market analysts anticipate single-digit sequential revenue growth, sustained by demand across financial services and non-manufacturing client portfolios. Market projections indicate that quarter-on-quarter revenue growth in constant currency terms will land between 1.7% and 1.9%.

Consensus forecasts place net profit between ₹7,950 crore and ₹8,070 crore for the quarter ended September 30. That represents a quarter-on-quarter increase of 2% to 4%, and a year-on-year rise of 8% to 10% compared to the ₹7,364 crore recorded in the same period last year.

Operating performance remains stabilized by structural efficiencies and digital service adoption. Operating margins, measured as EBIT, are projected in the range of 20.9% to 21.3%, accounting for seasonal wage adjustments and ongoing investments in artificial intelligence capabilities.

Deal momentum and guidance update

Order intake across key global markets remains supported by large-scale enterprise transformation projects. Brokerages estimate that total contract value for deal wins during the quarter will range between $2.5 billion and $3.0 billion.

Analysts at Nuvama Institutional Equities project that Infosys may narrow its full-year constant currency revenue growth guidance for FY27 to between 1.0% and 2.5%, compared to its previous range of 1.5% to 3.0%, while maintaining its operating margin target.
